About Cyprus with Babies.
In the last few years holidaymakers with young babies and toddlers have found it difficult to hire/rent essential items - travel cots, car seats, booster cushions, stair gates, high chairs, bed guards, push chairs etc. Unfortunately, very few villas & apartments and even some of the larger hotels cannot always provide these important items.
Due to recent luggage restrictions and even higher costs being implemented by airlines and tour operators, life is becoming more and more difficult to plan those long awaited family holidays with pre-school age children.
Based in Limassol with my husband, some of our friends from UK came to visit us for the first time with their young baby and told us just how difficult and expensive it was to bring their much needed baby and toddler items with them. With this in mind we decided perhaps it was time we set up in a small way by offering a baby equipment for hire service within the Limassol tourist districts.
We cover the areas from Episkopi Garrison and village in the West side of Limassol to Atlantica Bay Hotel, Elias Beach Hotel area (Amathus / Amathunda & Pyrgos tourist locations) in the East of Limassol and as high as Souni village on the Omodos Road.
For Cyprus residents - we can arrange to meet you at any of the Limassol hotels close to one of the above areas if you live further out in the villages.
We can arrange to deliver/collect to and from Pissouri Bay or village and Aphrodite Hills golf course locations but these areas will incur an increased delivery/collection fee of €15 (total cost) rather than the standard €10 for Limassol tourist locations and areas previously mentioned.
Alternatively, you can arrange to meet us at a designated point in Kolossi/Ypsonas area to collect and also return the items, if you prefer not to pay for delivery/collection service.
So, if you are ready to take a hard earned break to Limassol for your holidays and you have little ones in tow.... Why not contact us today?
Both me and my husband were Civil Servants in the UK - me for 15yrs until 1992 and my husband for the last 10yrs before we left the UK in 2004.
Later on I worked in the UK travel industry with one of the 3 largest tour operators up until leaving the UK. We have been resident in Limassol, Cyprus since March 2004. Below are photos taken at the Temple of Apollo near Ancient Curium (Limassol) and on the Egyptian national ferry crossing the river Nile in Luxor.
